Born and raised in Vancouver B.C, Ehren Salazar can remember drawing from a very early age. After attending Langara College and Emily Carr University studying fine arts, he established Little Mountain Gallery, a community art and event space. He then went on to spend a summer in Southern Italy learning and studying with Messors art restoration; the practice of cleaning and stabilizing old forgotten frescos. He moved to Victoria in 2013 with his partner and worked in graphic design with a local print company. He has recently returned to his hometown and has been working on individual and public art commissions. Ehren works primarily in graphite and enjoys illustrating landscapes, buildings, and people. He is currently working with the City of Vancouver on a public art piece as well as the illustrations for an upcoming children’s book titled "Dizzy The Dancing Sloth". When not in the studio, Ehren can be found walking the city streets looking for inspiration or a baseball game to join.
Feel free to message me here if you have any questions or comments. Open to discussing commissioned works as well.
